I recently spent two delightful nights at Peacock Villa Resort, and it was truly a hidden gem just outside the national park. The room was simple yet comfortable, featuring a private entrance and a lovely balcony with garden views, perfect for soaking in the scenery. Upon arrival, the warm welcome with fresh lime juice set the tone for our stay, highlighting the incredible hospitality of the family who run this charming place. The true magic came during our morning safari; not only did we spot elephants and monkeys, but the guide—part of the family—was a walking encyclopedia of wildlife. Each dinner was a feast prepared to our liking, filled with generous portions and homemade goodness that had us counting down to mealtime. If you’re after a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere where nature embraces you, Peacock Villa Resort should definitely be on your list!
